U.S. Flag Project
First grade teacher, Kelly Lynch of Brush, Colorado, has created a great Internet project. Teachers across the country are linking their websites together through their state flags. This gives everyone a chance to see all the terrific happenings in classrooms in other states, while learning about our great country.
To continue your journey onto OK, click on our MA flag above. To learn about the project, and begin your journey through the states, click on the American flag above. To learn about our great state, click on the map below..
Our school is in Arlington, Massachusetts. If you look at the map below and find our capital (Boston) and then look for the town of Lexington (NW), Arlington is right below it (it is where the letter "d" is in Concord).
We go on field trips to Gloucester (Eastern Point Lighthouse and
Hammond Castle) and Plymouth (Plimoth Plantation and Mayflower II).
Can you find these towns on the map? Click on the map to learn about MA.
