Kisses

1999~2003
Kisses was one of our two wonderful classroom guinea pigs. Her official name was Kisses 2, second in a line of guinea pigs named "Kisses". She was sweet, friendly, simply adorable, and very much loved by all of us. Sadly, she became ill in June 2003, and despite many attempts to nurse her back to health, including trips to the vet, she passed on June 17, 2003.
In trying to deal with our sadness and loss, the children wrote about our special pet.

I miss you alot. I loved petting you. I want to have you back. I miss you, Kisses. I wish you were still alive.

Kisses is the best guinea pig this class could ever have. I feel so sad and the class does, too, even Ms. Jacoby feels sad about it. We feel sorry that she died.

Best guinea pig - loved people - she was cool		 Kisses was a great guinea pig! She was outstanding! She was so cute! She had pneumonia. It was very sad. I loved Kisses very much! She was very good.
