| Mr. Penta is the principal of our school (Peirce School). He's also our #1 numismatist! It's always a treat to have him visit our class and tell us about the world of coins! Recently, we've had the pleasure of two visits. One was on Constitution Day when he showed us some awesome coins he has commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Constitution (see photo on right). He then returned to show some more of his special treasures, such as the coins he has commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. He also took a look and commented on some of the coins the children had brought to share with him. |
