Although the weather was a bit dismal, it was easy to see how beautiful the facility is, and what a terrific job the MWRA is doing processing our wastewater. |
and incredible educator Meg Tabacsko. ![]() Meg visited our classroom and introduced us to the world of wastewater and the MWRA's work. ![]() Jared and Sam were also greeted by a Welcome sign, complete with all the winners' names! There were goodies to eat and photos to be taken. There was also a bit of unexpected excitement when an electrical short caused a bit of fire and smoke causing everyone to be evacuated! The fire department arrived, all was well, and the ceremony was on. The ceremony was absolutely lovely. Jared won First Place and a $200.00 savings bond for his efforts.
